What's left of a house at Pioneer mining town

The infamous Bralorne Museum

Lucky enough to find an old newspaper in one of the run down houses.

Not a bad deal for an engagement ring

Indian Paint Brush (if i remember correctly)

Nice necklaces (they're glass). Check out Melanie's awesome glass work

Need I say more?

Melanie teaching us how to make glass beads

Bralorne Jail

Not the warmest welcome sign into the museum

An old phone switchboard

Go down this dirt road, take a left and go knock on the door to rent oars!

Can't beat having a whole lake to yourself!

The following excerpt gives an indication of her strength and perseverance - two qualities necessary for survival in the Bridge River Valley in the early years.
"At the age of 70 she confessed to a friend that, on the advice of her doctor, she was having to take things easy - she no longer was able to lift the boulders off the road but was forced to roll them off."
