I am sure most of you have been wondering if we were going to have a renuion or not. Well I am here to answer that question for you. YES! We are planning a reunion. Please keep this date open: Saturday, August 27th 2005. Our plans are still in the works but for now, we want to try to get in touch with as many 1995 grads as we can.
Just wanted to give you all an update for Saturday, August 27th. We have three events on the agenda, and they are as follows...
12:00pm: Sunoka Beach, Family Day Luncheon...
Anytime around 12 noon, we will see you guys down at Sunoka Beach for a day at the beach with our families. The committee is going down early to claim a nice big grassy area with a few picnic tables. We are providing hot dogs and juice. If we could please get everyone else to bring something to go with lunch whether that be a salad or a plate of veggies. If every family brings at least one "potluck" item, we will all be well fed. Bring the kids (if you have kids) and your spouse/other half (if you have one) or just come solo. Either way we will have tons of fun hanging out on the beach, having some lunch and chatting about our new lives since Grad.
6:00pm: Shaughnessy's Cover, Dinner...
We have reserved a large chunk of the Cove for a dinner for all of us Grads. Please don't just limit this to yourself. Make sure to bring a date if you have one you would like to bring. This dinner is "adult oriented" so that we can all kick back and have a few drinks with dinner. The cost of your dinner/drinks would be your responsibility to cover but Jack, the manager of the Cove, will be providing a few different dinner specials just for us.
10:00pm: Nite Moves, PARTY TIME!....
We have also reserved a portion of Nite Moves. We have been promised no cover and a drink special with VIP treatment. So nows your chance to have some drinks with your old classmates and request some "old school" music from the day. So bring your date and don't forget to invite anyone else you want to meet up with while you are in town. This includes anyone from other Grad years that you keep in touch with..... More the Merrier of course!
If anyone needs a sitter while they are in town, please contact me. If anyone needs to find accomodations or a campsite, please let me know. If anyone is unsure on what to bring to the BBQ, please let me know. We didn't have a reunion fund to work with so everything is "pay your own way" Please pass this email onto anyone from our Grad class and of course anyone else that you may want to connect with while you are in town.
